Our modern surgical centre has three advanced operating theatres with spacious and comfortable first stage and second stage post-anaesthesia care recovery units and is a purpose-built facility specialising in dental procedures and skin cancer surgeries.

The Medical Advisory Committee(MAC) and Anaesthetic Advisory Committee(AAC) represents the community of Visiting Practitioners and assists in advising the Director of Nursing to manage and operate the facility to the highest standards.
These Committees also help with Clinical and Corporate Governance, patient safety and high-quality healthcare and ensure we are committed to excellence and to the continuous improvement of our facility.

3 Advanced Operating Theatres
At Dormir Group we offer three modern, purpose-built operating theatres designed to support procedures under general anaesthesia or IV sedation. These large, fully equipped theatres give visiting surgeons the ideal clinical environment, delivering safe, efficient, high-quality surgical care with the flexibility you need.
1st and 2nd Stage PACU Recovery Units
Our facility includes dedicated Post-Anaesthesia Care Units (PACU 1 and PACU 2) — where patients are closely monitored by registered nurses throughout their initial recovery and until they are ready for discharge. These fully equipped recovery spaces meet ANZCA standards and ensure patient comfort and safety during the critical post-operative period.
Full Range of High Quality Equipment
Dormir Group ensures surgeons have access to an extensive suite of top-tier dental and surgical instruments and consumables — from surgical motors, piezo units, implant surgical kits, PRF centrifuges and NSK hand pieces, to intra-oral X-rays, large implant consignments and curing lights.
Specialist anaesthetists from prominent anaesthetic groups provide expert anaesthesia services with our extensive and state-of-the-art Anaesthetic equipment.
General Anaesthesia
In General Anaesthesia, patients are placed in a carefully controlled state of complete unconsciousness, ensuring they remain entirely pain free and unaware throughout their dental procedure, while they are fully monitored continuously by our Specialist Anaesthetists.
Conscious IV Sedation
Conscious IV Sedation is a safe and effective way to keep patients calm and comfortable during skin cancer procedures. It creates a relaxed, dream-like state where patients remain drowsy but still able to breathe on their own, move, and follow simple instructions. Most patients remember little of the procedure and it offers quicker recovery with fewer side effects compared to general anaesthesia.
