Terms and Conditions

By making a booking with Brisbane Dental Anaesthetics Centre (BDAC), you agree to the following terms and conditions:

  1. Payment Requirement
    Full payment is required at least 7 days prior to your scheduled procedure to confirm your booking. Failure to complete payment within this timeframe may result in your appointment being forfeited or cancelled.
  2. Responsibility to Review Information
    Patients are expected to read the Patient Information Booklet provided at the time of booking. This document includes essential information about fasting, medications, arrival times, transportation, consent requirements, and other critical pre-operative instructions.
  3. Reference to Documentation
    Please refer back to the Patient Information Booklet and your personalised quote for all relevant financial and procedural information. The most up-to-date documents are always available upon request by contacting us at admin@brisbanedac.com.au.
  4. Communication
    All correspondence, including appointment confirmations, quotes, and receipts, will be sent via email and/or SMS. It is the patient’s responsibility to provide correct and active contact details and to check these regularly leading up to the procedure.

Cancellation Policy

We understand that plans can change, and we aim to be as accommodating as possible. However, cancellations made at short notice incur costs due to theatre bookings and staff allocations.

  1. Cancellations within 24 hours of your appointment will incur a $1,000 cancellation fee to cover administration and facility preparation costs.
  2. No-shows will result in full fees being forfeited and will not be eligible for Medicare rebates.
  3. Failure to follow pre-operative instructions (e.g., not fasting, no mandatory escort, failure to follow instructions provided by anaesthetist) will result in full fees being forfeited and will not be eligible for Medicare rebates.

Refund Policy

BDAC’s refund policy is designed to ensure clarity and fairness for all parties:

  1. If your procedure is cancelled more than 7 days prior to your scheduled date, you will receive a full refund of any prepaid fees.
  2. If your procedure is cancelled within 24 hours, a $1,000 cancellation fee applies.
  3. Refunds may take up to 7 business days to process.
